NEXT, Sectionals will be on

• 12 October 2009(Monday, 3pm- 5pm)
• 14 October 2009(Wednesday, 3pm-5pm)
• 17 October 2009(Saturday, Time to be confirmed)

ALSO, In conjunction of people having attachment and working, the attendance rate decreased. Hence, starting from 6 October 2009 till the concert, please maintain at least 85% attendance. For people who missed band practice from 14 October 2009 to 6 October 2009, you will have to make up with either sectionals or DECLARED self- practice. Meaning you will need to inform me. Do have some initiatives on your own.

ADDITIONALLY, In disrupts of instrument loan, you will need to look for Francesca to sign in and out the instrument each time you loan.

LASTLY! PLEASE PRACTICE THE WORK GIVEN BY TANG LAO SHI.

Tang Xiao Ping will be teaching basics to strengthen our foundation. he will be teaching as a whole section but will also be teaching individually to cater to each needs. There will be around 2 sectionals each week. i will update everyone through here when the sectional timing is confirmed.
And please practice your pieces during your own timing so during the sectional, tang laoshi will not have to waste his time teaching the rhythm all that.

If you all know, there will be a concert during December. And our section has only 4 or 5 players who come for practice frequently. And now Dr Goh says that those who din come for the previous practice, can no need to come to the consecutive practice and will not be able to join the concert. And there's no need to ask timothy, me or Dr goh whether you can perform or not. If you still want to perform, you have to go for practice on Monday and other consecutive practices.

NO excuses for those who are having FYP or attachment not to come for band practice unless you already intend not to perform for the concert. If you are working during your holidays, you can still come after your work. Dun tell me you are tired, cuz those ppl who are working and still wants to perform will still try their best to make it for the practices.

Note: For ladies who dun have blazer, you have to either buy one or borrow from your friend. Now is GSS, so is quite cheap for ladies blazer at those atrium sales in the mall. Or you can try Robinson sales at Expo.
